in response to someone's post about neil and andrew never having a normal christmas growing up, i posted these tags:

#andrews secretly enjoying it while neil thinks its unnecessary but finds it a little fun #they do white elephant and andrew makes it his goal to give the worst present ever #also you KNOW nicky has been determined to give andrew and aaron a good christmas every year hes lived with them #he and aaron fully expect andrew to give terrible gifts because he does it every year #he also always sneaks something theyll actually like into the stockings nicky makes them use to make up for it #because he doesnt want to only give them a shitty gift when he can do both #they still havent figured it out bc aaron assumes his is from nicky and nicky assumes his is from aaron and they never think to correct it #neil clocks it immediately though and gives andrew knowing looks that andrew ignores #kevin has also picked up on it but he doesnt care #neils sophomore year the og foxes spend it together and andrew reluctantly includes the upperclassmen in his gift giving #because he knows theyre important to neil #they also get one shitty gift and one secretly good gift #he lets neil take credit for the good gift #renee figures it out though she knows him too well
