thinking about aftg and the drift from pacific rim and about how neil and andrew would be drift compatible but neither of them would trust literally anyone enough to drift with them, and theyd only really start considering the other as someone they would want try to drift with after baltimore when all neils secrets are revealed

personally i believe that aaron and andrew would also be drift compatible but they would never actually drift and find out because it would take SO much external communication to get andrew to even consider it. like yeah aaron would want to but andrews nowhere near ready to let him in like that, even with their shared therapy. but if they ever reached that point, theyd be drift compatible and itd catch them both a little off guard because like. they would hope but they wouldnt be 100% certain it would work and then it does and theyre so surprised and relieved
