LMFAO it started as a joke because he saw that one post on tumblr that floats around where its like "finding a new author you love in a fandom but you go to their page and the rest of their work is all hockey rpf" and it made him wonder what there is for exy. he started off reading kevin related fics because kevin seemed more interesting than riko (dead mom and no dad backstory was more relatable than estranged parents backstory) and he will DIE before admitting to that, especially now that he actually KNOWS kevin. especially now that kevin is FAMILY

he tried to avoid fanfic about any of the foxes (especially himself, andrew, and nicky) for the longest time but once andrew pulled kevin into their orbit, he gave up on that because he figured "im already reading about one person i know, might as well run with it"

he mostly reads a lot of other schools or the pros because the degree of separation makes it easier to enjoy, but the ones about the foxes are the ones that make him laugh the most when he gives into the curiosity and lets himself look

this isnt canon to the AADS universe, i changed things slightly since this post
