as much as i love andrew with piercings, i do think that because he and aaron are so identical that andrew can impersonate aaron and people canonically have to use the armbands to tell them apart then that means hed only have piercings if aaron did AND theyd be the same type, but i dont see aaron as a piercing guy at all

so i propose that andrew gets piercings after the series because neil, who has never been allowed to stand out while on the run and had to avoid identifying features that would make him easier to track down, wants to get some to remind himself he doesnt have to hide any more and he asks andrew to go with him and andrew decides on the spot once they get there that he wants some too

honestly im often torn on whether neil would be the one good about taking them out for games and practice or if andrew would be. because neil lives for exy so hed be conscious of that, but hes also reckless with his health and wouldnt care about the piercings hurting while he plays
