oh dont mind me im just thinking about how jean tells neil its fitting hes number four of the perfect court because "Did you know? In Japanese, 'four' and 'death' sound the same. It is appropriate that the Butcher's son should wear this number" but if neil had been successfully sold to the moriyamas instead of running, hed have been number three and jean would be number four. jean, who dies in every universe except for this, would have been number four. and four and death sound the same in japanese. just casually thinking about that. im not losing my mind over it or anything why do you ask? im fine. im chill. im normal
